Can the bible be redeemed for use by contemporary Unitarian Universalists? Believe it or not, the Bible is central to our Unitarian Universalist theological Heritage. Throughout our history and continuing into the twenty-first century, Unitarian and Universalist scholars have made many critical, creative, and practical contributions in the field of biblical studies. But modern UUs seldom seem to draw upon the rich resources of the biblical tradition. Why is that? In this service, we’ll learn a little bit about what’s in the “Good Book,” what it’s about, and what it’s for.
Service will be in person and on Zoom.
