The Dalai Lama’s “tonglen” (giving and taking), Archbishop Tutu’s “choose hope” and Martin Luther’s view of Jesus’ work described as “Happy Exchange” can help us face the risk of bitter disappointment and shattering heartbreak in order to be “at-one.” Potluck lunch to follow the service.
