Why do bad things happen to good people?  How do you make spiritual sense of what happened at Uvalde or what continues to unfold in Ukraine? What do different theologies say of natural disasters – of wildfires and tsunamis that wipe communities off the map?  This week there will be no easy answers and neither will we look away from suffering.  This week we will wrestle, together, for the sake of our human need to make sense and make story, though no happy ending is guaranteed.
