Language and Experience

Language is always evolving, adapting to the needs of its users.  Expressing our experience is at the core of language use and developments in language will move forward because our experiences are not adequately expressed with existing terms.

UUs across the nation are working to understand the experience of others, focusing on the marginalized voices of, among others, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, and people with disabilities.
