Forum, Share Your Memorable Experiences on Isle Royale

October 11, 2026, 10:30am KUUF members

This Forum will be a bit different as KUUF members will be the presenters!

At least a dozen of us have worked for, lived on, or visited Isle Royale National Park, from Bill Fink, former Isle Royale National Park Superintendent and employees Elen Maurer and Ellen Seidel, to Linda Belote who had several trips there with husband Jim, plus myself (Joan Chadde) and many more!

Those willing to speak will have 3-5 minutes (depending upon how many volunteer to share!). Please send an email to jchadde@mtu.edu BY THURSDAY, OCT. 15, if you have a story, adventure, feeling, poem, etc. that you’d like to share about Isle Royale. I’ll assemble the order of speakers. Photos are welcome and can be sent to me to display.

Forum will be by Zoom only.
