What’s Love Got to Do With It?
The word “Love” appears at the very center of the UUA’s new statement of core values, as represented in the image that now hangs on the wall of KUUF’s social hall. The language of love also stands at the very beginning of KUUF’s congregational covenant: “We build our fellowship on a foundation of love and covenant with one another. . . ” This resonance between our local community and the national denomination is good to see, but what does it really mean to place love at the core of our religious community, in practice?
