In our annual water ceremony, we will examine the connection between water and compassion as we mingle our waters together for the new church year.
Make sure to bring some water that is meaningful to you as we will be mingling our waters together. The only rule is it come from a source that is meaningful to you–a lake, river, or ocean, a swimming pool, sprinkler, or even your tap. Bring your water with you to the service and we will bring them together into one!
This year’s Labor Day service will celebrate the labor movement and show how their efforts to bring about fair pay and rights echoes our Unitarian Universalist values. Rev. Chris will examine the connection between the Labor Movement and efforts to advocate for economic justice and show how UUs around the country are continuing these efforts through the recently adopted statement of conscience on escalating inequality.
