For many in the world, the Season of Lent begins on February 18, Ash Wednesday. On Sunday, February 1, Rev. Bruce Johnson shared a story from the Hasidic community about a Rabbi who carried two pieces of paper, one in each front pocket. On one piece of paper were the words “For your sake the world was created!” On the other were the words “You are dust and ashes.”
